The Center for the Study of Liberty held its inaugural Ideas at Work event in February 2019 with Professor John Inazu, author of Confident Pluralism: Surviving and Thriving Through Deep Difference.
Professor Inazu's work could not be more timely in today's political and social climate. In his book Confident Pluralism, he offers practical suggestions for how we, as people with profound and at times polarizing differences, can "live together peaceably."
Professor Inazu joined us for a live online interview and Q&A to discuss what "confident pluralism" is, the broader history of pluralism in American society, and what each of us can do to help create a more civil public discourse.

"John Inazu was clear, approachable, and engaging."
